Pine Cliffs sits on pine-shaded clifftops above Praia da Falésia, and the children's village is the size of a small park, with pirate ships, bouncy castles and its own pools. Under-eights can be dropped off for a full day while older children join Annabel Croft's tennis clinics or a football camp. Parents get the spa, a nine-hole course and a lift down to one of the Algarve's great beaches.
