Regent's Park

Marylebone Green Playground · Photo: royalparks.org.uk

A loop of The Regent's Park built around its playgrounds: a three-zone playground with a willow tunnel, a pedalo or rowing boat on the lake, a picnic on the grass, a treehouse sand pit and a zip wire to finish. Short hops all day and only the boats cost money.

Traditional swings, a spiral concrete folly, climbing wall and a natural zone with boulders. Toilets and baby change on site.

A three-zone playground in the south of The Regent's Park: a traditional area with swings and a seesaw, an art-inspired zone with a spiral concrete folly and climbing wall, and a natural zone with a willow tunnel, boulders and a fallen tree. Close to Baker Street and Regent's Park stations, so it suits a quick play stop.

Finish on the 50 m zip wire and the raised sand and water tables.

A natural-materials playground redesigned in 2019-20 with a 50-metre zip wire, climbing structures, sand and water play, zoned so the gentlest equipment sits in the middle. Wheelchair-accessible bridges and raised sand and water tables make it one of the more inclusive Royal Parks play spaces. Handy before or after London Zoo.
