The Elf Express
The Shropshire end of the Severn Valley Railway's Christmas programme, running from Bridgnorth to Highley and back in a private compartment. Passengers stay aboard throughout while Santa and his elves work along the train, which makes it a good choice in poor weather and for families who would rather not queue outdoors. Compartments are booked as a whole, so it suits a family group or two families travelling together.
