SUPER Natural
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust's Washington reserve runs a nature-themed programme through the October half term across its lakes, hides and woodland paths. It is almost entirely outdoors and works well for primary-age children who enjoy wildlife spotting, though the ground can be wet. Tickets need to be booked in advance.
