Spooky Half Term
A working farm near Lanchester gives over the October half term to a spooky theme across its barns, trails and animal areas. Most of it is outdoors and it suits pre-school and primary-age children best, so wellies and warm layers are sensible. The farm lists the run as Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, then daily from 24 October to 1 November.
