Santa's Magical Christmas Grotto and Elf Express
A carriage grotto at Porthmadog's harbour station where children meet Santa, paired with short Elf Express shuttle trains along the line to Minffordd. It is cheaper than the full Santa train and better suited to families with very young children or a limited budget. Free footplate rides are also offered at the station on the same dates.
