Halloween Half-Term at Whitby Abbey
Daytime half-term activities in the grounds of the ruined clifftop abbey that inspired Dracula. It is an outdoor site on an exposed headland, so it can be genuinely blustery and is better for children who are steady on their feet than for toddlers in pushchairs. A separate evening event, Illuminated Whitby Abbey, runs 23-31 October from 5.30-9pm if you would rather see the ruins lit up.
