Cardiff's Winter Wonderland
Cardiff's winter festival spreads across two outdoor city centre sites, with a covered main ice rink and a novice rink in the castle grounds plus a family fairground and big wheel on the City Hall lawns. Entry to the sites costs nothing, but you pay per attraction. Skating sessions must be booked online in advance - there are no walk-up tickets and busy December slots sell out.
