Apply — or claim the listing you already have
One short form: your business, the areas you run in, what you teach and a few lines about you. It's free, and there's no contract to sign.
What you do
Fill in the application — your login is created as you submit it
Add an offer code if someone has given you one
Already in Tumble's directory? Claim that listing rather than starting a new one, so your page and its history stay
What Tumble does
Reviews every application and emails you when you're approved — usually within a few days
Keeps everything private until then, so you can set up before anyone sees it
02
Set up your business
Your dashboard gives you a checklist — add a venue, your first class, your public contact details — and ticks each one off as you go.
What you do
Add your venues, then your classes: terms, holiday camps, drop-ins, prepaid packs and paid trials, each priced the way you run it
Set age ranges, capacity, sibling discounts and any questions you need families to answer
Invite your staff — they see the sessions they run, not your accounts
What Tumble does
Imports your timetable or customer list from a spreadsheet, showing you exactly what will import before anything is saved
Or send us your export and we'll move your families across for you, free
Families you bring stay yours at 1.5% for good — even if they later find you on Tumble

Connect your payouts
Payments are taken by Stripe and paid out to your bank automatically. You connect a payout account once, on Stripe's own site.
What you do
Tell us whether you're a sole trader or a limited company
Give Stripe your details and the bank account you want paying into
Choose how often you're paid: weekly on Fridays, twice a month or monthly. Stripe's payout fees are passed on at cost
What Tumble does
Never sees or stores your bank details
Holds nothing in a Tumble bank account — the money stays with Stripe until it's paid to you
Pays your share of a multi-provider basket within 5–10 working days

Go live and get found
Once approved, your classes appear in Tumble's directory and search, where families are already looking for things to do with their children.
What you do
Share your own booking link anywhere — social, email, the noticeboard at your venue
Embed the booking widget on the website you already have
Or build a public page from live blocks, so your timetable updates itself
What Tumble does
Charges 2.5% only when Tumble found the family, and 1.5% when they came through your own link or widget
Shows Tax-Free Childcare on your listing if you're Ofsted-registered and accept it
Tells you how many parents it sent to your profile

Families book and pay
Parents book on their phone in a couple of taps. The price they see is the price you set — there is never a booking fee on top.
What you do
Nothing — bookings arrive on your register and in your customer list
Decide whether a trial's price comes off the rest of the term
What Tumble does
Holds the seat during checkout, so the last place can't be sold twice
Offers a freed place to the next family on the waiting list automatically
Collects contacts, consents and medical details once per family, then reuses them for every provider
Sends confirmations and reminders for you

Run the day
The register is the thing you'll actually open. It works on a phone, keeps working without a signal, and saves with every tap.
What you do
Tap each child in — attended, absent or excused
Record an incident or an accident on the spot if you need to
Message families through Tumble without sharing your personal address book
What Tumble does
Puts allergies and medical flags on the register itself
Shows which families told you about an absence in advance, and flags a child who's missed two in a row
Warns you before a DBS check, training or insurance certificate expires

Get paid, and see what's working
Every booking keeps its price, discount, fee and payout as they were on the day — so changing next term's prices never rewrites last term.
What you do
Choose the amount when you refund — you see how it splits before you confirm
Download one CSV of every payment, fee and net amount for your accountant, or a bank-statement file for Xero or QuickBooks
What Tumble does
Pays out on the schedule you chose, and reverses its fee in proportion when you refund
Breaks your takings down per class and per channel, and projects next term from the terms you've run
Nudges you when a class is under-filled while there's still time to fill it

Already using another booking system?
You don’t have to switch on day one. Put some of your places on Tumble, keep the rest where they are, and move over when the numbers say so. The one rule: never sell the same place on both.
Every question, answered
What providers ask us before they switch.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. Listing, registers, customers, messaging, analytics and the website widget are free, and you only pay when a family pays you through Tumble — so a quiet month costs you nothing. The one thing with a monthly charge is the optional Memberships package, at £100 a month.
What exactly are the fees?
1.5% on families you bring yourself, through your own booking link or website widget, and 2.5% on families Tumble finds for you — no VAT added. On the Memberships package it's a flat 1% on everything. Stripe's card and payout fees are passed on at cost, never marked up.
Do parents pay a booking fee?
Never. The price a family sees is the price you set, and nothing is added at checkout.
I have lots of staff — do I pay more?
No. There's no per-person charge. Add your whole team, and each member of staff sees the sessions they run rather than your accounts.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
Neither. There's no setup cost and no minimum term. Your customer list, registers and income all export as CSV whenever you want them.
Can families pay termly, weekly or as they go?
Yes — terms, single drop-in sessions, prepaid packs of sessions, holiday camps and paid trials, each priced the way you run it. Monthly memberships are on the Memberships package.
Can I offer a trial class?
Yes, switched on per class. A trial is one session at its own price. Afterwards the family gets a one-tap link to book the rest of the term, and you can choose to take what they paid for the trial off the term price.
Are sibling discounts supported?
Yes. Sibling discounts apply automatically at checkout, and you can create discount codes and schedule promotions.
What if there's no Wi-Fi at the venue?
Registers keep working without a signal. Take attendance offline and it saves when you're back in range — with allergies and medical flags on the register itself.
How do I move my existing families across?
Send us your export or spreadsheet and we'll move them across for you, free. Or do it yourself: download the template from Your own clients, fill it in and upload it, and you see exactly what will import before anything is saved. Either way, families you bring stay yours: you pay the 1.5% rate on them for good, even if they later find you on Tumble.
Can families book from my own website?
Yes. You get your own booking link and a widget you can embed on your site. Bookings that come through either count as your own families, at 1.5%.
Do parents need to download an app?
No. Tumble works in any phone or computer browser. Families keep one account for every provider they book with, with their children's forms filled in once.
How do I get paid?
Automatically, through Stripe. You connect a payout account once — Tumble never sees your bank details — and payouts go to your bank monthly, weekly or daily, depending on what you take. When a family checks out with several providers in one basket, your share is paid within 5–10 working days. The money is held by Stripe throughout, never in a Tumble bank account, and your billing page shows every payment, fee and net amount.
What happens when I refund a family?
You choose the amount. Tumble shows you how it splits before you confirm, and our fee is reversed in the same proportion as the refund.
Can I track skills, levels and badges?
Yes. Set up your own skills standards and levels, record what each child can do, and issue a certificate when they get there.
Do you support Tax-Free Childcare?
If you're Ofsted-registered, including the voluntary Childcare Register, add your registration number and say you accept Tax-Free Childcare or childcare vouchers. It shows on your listing, with your instructions for paying that way. Families can also download a year's payments in one statement for their claims.
We run football or netball teams — does it handle matches?
Yes. Mark any session as a match and add the opponent, home or away, meet time, the away ground and kit. Families see it in their calendar and reminder, with a map link, and tap whether their child can play — so you know your squad before match day.
We're a franchise — does it work for us?
Yes. Each location runs its own Tumble account, and head office gets a read-only view across every location in the brand.
We're already listed on Tumble. How do we take it over?
Claim your listing at Already listed? Claim it rather than starting a new one, then add your classes and turn on booking.
How long until we're live?
We review every application and email you when your listing is approved, usually within a few days. Nothing is public until then, so you can set up your classes first.
Ready when you are
Free to list, nothing to pay until a family books, and nothing public until we’ve approved you.
